Dish, Bridge Road, East Molesey - healthy, tasty & far from budget busting, I go to Dish for breakfast,  a quick lunch, or liqorice & peppermint tea with a slice of cake. (ruinously generous portions!)

 

Cote, Esher High Street - reliably good, I choose Cote for lunch or early dinner. Brilliantly priced at £9.99 for 2 courses so I can add a Kir Royale (£3.99) and still feel I've had excellent value for money.

 

Mezzet, Bridge Road, East Molesey - really great Lebanese food. I love the freshness of Cold Mezzet Taster Selection especially the tabouleh. Delicious cocktails too.

 

Marney's Village Inn, Weston Green Road - a hidden gem of a little pub prettily situated oppsite the duck pond.  I pop in here for a pre-sunday lunch drink whilst walking the dog (as does my lovely neighbour whose wife pretends she doesn't realise his ulterior motive for offering to walk the dogs!)  Great food too, try Smoked Salmon on Sourdough or a Pint of Prawns as a lite bite.

 

The Pheasantry, Bushy Park - another of my dog walking watering holes.. I have devised a route which takes me past The Pheasantry about two thirds into my walk which is just about perfect for a refuel of hot chocolate in winter or freshly made old fashioned lemonade in summer. The lunches & cakes are great too.

 

Going to the Dogs, (going-to-the-dogs.co.uk) - if you have a pooch in need of pampering call the lovely Heather. She parks her specially adapted pooch mobile outisde your house and sets to work transforming dirty doggies into showstoppers.  My beloved cocker spaniel loves her.
